As a cat content creator, I have been fortunate enough to receive both the Meowbox and the CatLadyBox over the last several years (as both companies have so graciously gifted them to me!) and my six cats and I genuinely love them both. However, while I do confidently recommend both options, I wanted to talk about what differentiates Meowbox from CatLadyBox so you can decide which of these super-popular cat subscription boxes is the purrfect fit for your kitty family.
Meowbox
Co-founded in 2013 by a woman named Olivia Canlas, Meowbox is a kitty-centric subscription box you can have delivered to your doostep either monthly, or every other month. Each Meowbox includes at least 5 unique items for your cat(s) and costs $25.95 per month. This usually consists of a variety of toys and either a treat or food sample. Sometimes you'll receive a fun kitty wearable, too. As an added personal touch, you may see your cat's name written on the inside of the box as well. Meowbox is a really great company!

Founded by a woman named Dorian Wagner in 2015, CatLadyBox is another popular cat subscription box--for good reason!
Featuring 3-4 cat lady items in the CatLadyBox ($35.99) plus an additional 1-2 cat toys in the Crazy CatLadyBox ($39.99), you and your cat are going to love opening this box together. CatLadyBox is based in the United States and offers one-month, three-month, and six-month subscriptions. Shipping is free is the USA, while Canada will see a $12.95 shipping charge per box.
Like Meowbox, CatLadyBox has a philanthropic program called CatLadyBox Cares where the company makes a weekly donation to a different rescue and then shares their story on social media. Final Thoughts
I love supporting women-owned businesses and I love cats so it should honestly come as no surprise that I love both of these companies. I do strongly recommend Meowbox and CatLadyBox, completely contingent upon what kind of products you're looking for. If you're looking for a cat subscription box that is primarily for your friend that purrs, Meowbox is your best bet! Wanting to add more cat-themed clothing, decor, and trinkets into your life?
